I realize it’s been a while since the last post but I’ve been extremely busy as of late. Anyway, just thought I’d take a few minutes to share some stuff with you guys.
It has been confirmed by Microsoft that certain version of Windows 7 (ultimate and professional i believe) will include a Virtual PC based environment and in that environment they will include A FULLY LICENSED VERSION OF WINDOWS XP SP3.

Also, for those of you with an Iphone (or wanting one) you might want to keep up on the news of whether or not AT&T will be able to keep exclusivity. It appears that Verizon is going to be taking a run at the Iphone soon. Probably bad news for AT&T since they wouldn’t exist without the Iphone due to their inferior service. (sidenote: I heard today that Iphones went on sale recently and some believe that might indicate a new version to be released shortly)

You guys on Time Warner might want to watch out. It seems some areas aren’t bothering themselves with sending out warnings anymore.

New firmware in the summer is going to bring a slew of new awesome features, the next generation iphone is supposed to hit next year.
AT&T wouldnt exist? hardly. at&t/cingular have always carried the best phones and carried a stable network. the iphone was just icing on the cake. currently att has the superior 3G network. But on the flipside, verizon is better suited in the long-term, as they’re investing a little more in future techs like 4G/fiber/LTE.
So when all carriers are on 4G networks, the whole CDMA/GSM thing will be a non-issue, so the networks should be equal in terms of call/data performance (which they pretty much are now anyways). So the only differntiating factor between the wireless providers will be the phones. I seriously doubt att would not reapp for iphone exclusitivity, although it actually really doesnt even matter. ATT already has all the customers who would buy an iphone, and those who would buy an iphone but stayed with verizon because they didnt want to switch, most likely isnt a very big number. Plus the current att iphone users have no reason to leave att and go to verizon, if verizon were to carry iphones too. plussssss, the iphone is old news anyways, att is most likely looking for exclusitivtiy rights on the next gen phone anyways as they always have done.

I’m not too sure the Iphone was the short-lived craze it seems that you are making it out to be. I mean I can’t walk outside and back in at work without running into someone (be it on the elevator, walking outside, etc) that isn’t playing with their Iphone. I’ll give it to them. They did a good job marketing and coming out with a solid product. But as I have said several times before, that solidness is simply b/c of Apple’s unwillingness to share. I mean if other manufacturers were allowed to create their own hardware AND THEN design software specifically designed to run rock solid on that hardware, then you would have many just as functional and stable as the Iphone.
But no other manufacturers are given the chances that Iphone has been given. I mean AT&T has nothing to do with the device or OS or anything other than the radio transmissions between it and the tower (the service). What other companies will let you do that (right now anyways)?
I mean the only devices close to the Iphone right now are one’s like mine that run WinMobile. Which means that manufacturers (like HTC) design a product (like the Touch Pro) and then just install the WinMobile OS on it. Was WinMobile developed “in-house” at HTC? Hell no! WinMobile was designed to run on many different mobile devices all with different specs. So OBVIOUSLY there are going to be problems from one device to another. Iphones never had this problem. Everything was done under their own roof and their own supervision, so if something didn’t work perfectly, they could simply change it. Is HTC allowed to change WinMobile? NO!! Sure they can skin it all they want, but at the end of the day it’s still the same thing.
Even the G1 doesn’t have the advantages the Iphone were given. It’s hardware was also made by HTC. Granted the OS (Android) MAY (I say “may” b/c I havent messed with one) be a little smoother and run better on the hardware (then again it was developed by Google so it’s probably GOLD). Anyway, it’s still just a piece of hardware that you throw a generic OS at. And the company they chose to provide service for their debut?…TMobile…come on….are you serious…nuff said on that…
At the end of the day Apple is still the stuck-up, over-privaledged, self-righteous, spoiled company they have always been. And all AT&T has done is let them show it once more.
“I’m Apple, Inc….I do what I want…Nobody can touch my stuff…I make something and you can either take it or not…but you cannot mess with it…so na na na na na”

Oh there’s no doubt the iphone is here to stay. But I meant future iterations of the iphone. If they keep putting out these kinds of products i’ll be buying them fo sho’. I <3 my stuckup Apples.
