For a limited time, one of the well-known screen protector companies Stealth Guard has decided to give away free protectors for supported phones. Hurry and check to see if they have one for your phone.
Appears as though shipping will run you approximately $2-$3 depending on your location.

Well, for those of you that haven’t hopped on the superior Android bandwagon and have been scared to “jailbreak” your iPhone because of its potential legal issues, fear no more.
Thanks to pushes by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Federal Government has just indicated that exemptions will be made to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) More >

How to Root the DroidX

This isn’t really an App but should definitely be mentioned due to the resulting excitement this weekend. P3driod over at MyDroidWorld has managed to get a build of Froyo working on the Motorola Droid and has decided to share it with everyone. It is available as a Clockwork backup or a SPRecovery backup along with More >

I just felt like throwing in some screenshots since I still haven’t had time to do a full review. There will still be a review done at some point (although it is probably pointless now). It’s just been hard to find the time lately. Anyway, root your Android!

I swear, one of these days I will make it out to CES (Consumer Electronics Show). I mean 8000 vendors with new unseen gadgets would be like Heaven on Earth.

Just thought I’d throw out the news. I’m sure there’s plenty of other articles out there but I heard from a friend who manages an AT&T store that the newest iteration of the iPhone is on the books for the end of summer. As we all know, release dates get pushed back all the time. More >

Hmm…weird that on Leo Laporte’s coverage of CES2010 he mentioned that they tried Sprint’s 4G and all the other phone service providers YET VERIZON’S DATA NETWORK WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD KEEP UP WITH THEIR STREAM….hmmmm….appears as though AT&T’s “better 3g network” commercials are a bunch of malarkey and do not apply in the More >

“David Pogue has distilled into useful form a long-standing complaint I have (and one reason I have long had a voice mail greeting that asked people not to leave me voicemail): cell phone companies set up the greeting, caller instructions, and playback system prompts in large part to maximize their revenue per user; by his More >

“Verizon has asked a court to affirm its claim to be ‘America’s Most Reliable 3G Network.’ From the article, ‘Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon and Vodafone Group PLC, asked a U.S. court for a judgment that its advertising claims to be “America’s Most Reliable 3G Network” were truthful, which rival AT&T called “misleading” More >

A) i’m not sold on OLED in phones yet (too many kinks)
B) that isn’t out
C) it won’t be near as refined as this
D) I can upgrade every year at Christmas so I’ll get the newest thing next year (if there’s anything better by then) Yup, no new every two crap for me…yay…
BTW, that was a shoddy attempt from a Mac fanboy at putting down the Droid…you can’t exactly compare speculations of what MIGHT come in the future to what you can buy today…I mean that’s like saying…"OMG, why did you just buy that 2010 ZL1…they’ll be making flying cars in a few years"….yea, its all speculation until you can hold it in your hand buddy! Heck, half (probably more) of these product designs never even make it to market…jeez…do some research maverick! you hater!…hahaha
