I just felt like posting a few links to articles about the “wonderful” iPhone4. Some of these you may question but mind you, they are real. Maverick didn’t believe one of them and tried it on a friends (the reception problem). Really Apple? Did you make ANY calls with this before releasing it? I find More >

About six months ago I joined the touch phone revolution by purchasing the LG Cyon LH2300 from my local LG OZ store here in Korea. Ever since the iPhone launched I had wanted one, but I’m a Verizon guy and AT&T’s service wasn’t very good at my house, so I was stuck with a More >
Droid Screenshots

I just felt like throwing in some screenshots since I still haven’t had time to do a full review. There will still be a review done at some point (although it is probably pointless now). It’s just been hard to find the time lately. Anyway, root your Android!

Just thought I’d throw out the news. I’m sure there’s plenty of other articles out there but I heard from a friend who manages an AT&T store that the newest iteration of the iPhone is on the books for the end of summer. As we all know, release dates get pushed back all the time. More >
Leo @ CES2010

Hmm…weird that on Leo Laporte’s coverage of CES2010 he mentioned that they tried Sprint’s 4G and all the other phone service providers YET VERIZON’S DATA NETWORK WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD KEEP UP WITH THEIR STREAM….hmmmm….appears as though AT&T’s “better 3g network” commercials are a bunch of malarkey and do not apply in the More >

I just stopped by the Verizon Wireless store on the way home. It’s Christmas time so wouldn’t you know, I couldn’t leave without asking if I was eligible for an upgrade. Well, it turns out that “New every two” is for most people but my current plan is eligible annually and my year anniversary was More >
Nokia Sues Apple
about 2 years ago - No comments
Engadget posted an article today discussing a newly filed patent infringement lawsuit against Apple concerning their iPhone. It seems that Nokia’s lawsuit claims that ALL iPhone models shipped infringe on 10 of Espoo’s patents. It appears this issue has been discussed back and forth between the two companies; however, it seems that Apple’s refusal of More >

In the spirit of full disclosure, many people are not liking the quality of these StealthGuard protectors…
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-general-discussions/68561-free-full-body-stealth-guard-protector-x-11.html
By the way, I don’t personally use any of these protectors but that is simply because they are hard to apply perfectly and I’m extremely anal. Also, with the Droid, you don’t really need these. It’s very well built.
NOTE:
Most of these protectors suck if you are anal about aesthetics as I am. If you don’t care taht much and just want screen protection then fine. It should be noted that thick screen protectors may have adverse effects on your touchscreen (since most are capacitive and the protector will be creating a larger gap). If you are sure you want one, then this will probably be just as good as the others you look at (InvisiShield is possibly the largest and most desirable). I believe StealthGuard offers a full refund though, if you decide you dont’ like it.
Also, keep in mind that these “it sucks” posts can be found about ANY product out there, so judging a product based on one link is useless.
